The best about the benefits package is the paid time off and the sick pay
Best: Match 50% of 401k up to 6% Worst: They only do the bare minimum for the people in the military. There is no paid military leave forcing military members to use up their vacation time to make ends meat when deployed. Where as other banks will pay you for the first 1 to 3 months with out using vacation time to make sure military members can pay their bills.
Just like a used car salesmen the employees and HR will try to sell you on their great benefits package! If you're a woman and plan on having kids you might as well start begging on the streets. This place will force you to use all of your sick and vacation time and then force you to go on unpaid leave. During that time they will require you to reimburse them for medical coverage - assuming you want to stay insured while you're bringing new life into this world. They also don't consider prenatal coverage as preventative care so plan on paying for that.
Excellent benefits/Expense continued to increase annually and benefits, such as office visit and perception copay increased.
Overall, not bad but think that they could do more. Seem rather expensive and not extensive and certainly not up to date with wellness and employee assistance programs.
401K matching up to 3% if you contribute 6% or more Paid banking holidays do not cut in to 80 paid hours of vacation yearly. If a paid banking holiday lands on a weekend, you get the holiday as a float holiday. You get a birthday float (an extra day off for your birthday that you can use any time). So really it's 88 hours of vacation. Very flexible when you can take your vacation, how many days in a row, etc.
Sufficient vacation days and sick time. 401k plan is above average, dental coverage is practically free and medical coverage is very inexpensive. The company offers an extensive list of benefits to choose from. It's impressive.
