We actually piggy-back off Marriott associate discount which is adequate for travel with the exception of blackout dates. The benefit would work better if it were awarded without room type/availability concessions. The only benefit is not having to pay the full rate (at times) to stay at a nice hotel.
Sometimes you can get a very significant discount on a room. You can book reservations online and cancel without penalty.
The majority of our "discounts' have been taken away with. For example, we no longer get an employee food discount. There are very few discounts left.
No discounts exist, they are advertised but like everything they say, its verbal diarrhea.
This is the best benefit offered. After a certain time of service (6 months? 1 year?), associates are allotted 10 comp days at any CSC hotel, subject to approval of property GM. Good luck trying to take advantage of this perk, though. Plus, the decrease of properties from 100ish to 40ish reduces the options for travel.
