Paid time off package is amazing, benefit options are great
Columbia is very generous with their vacation and sick time. Officers accumulate 23 vacation days and 2 personal days per year.
401k paid vacations etc
Lots of vacation time - 23 days. Offers emergency daycare benefit which can be a real life saver. Medical insurance is expensive though.
As a graduate student, we get health insurance, but dental must be paid for separately. Otherwise, the health insurance includes one teeth cleaning a year with a co-pay of $10. There is now two plans to choose from for student health insurance. I think they provide $2000/year for childcare (i.e. daycare).
No 401k but, there is a 403b.
Healthcare is good but fellows get very limited benefits such as no personal days, no 401K, no flex transit, etc
I don't have any...I should just be hired full time instead of them trying to keep me on for two part-time jobs
Free tuition to Columbia University for self and family
There is a generous vacation benefit package for faculty and officers of administrations. You receive 23 paid vacation days per year with an opportunity to roll-over remaining vacation days onto the next year (up to 1 year)
