Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?
Did not really evolve with the postition
All medical provided, 401K, just wish the cost per employee/family was a bit lower., but I know this is a Xerox decision.
Health insurance was severely lacking. The benefit options were non-existent, only a high deductible plan available. Also 401k was not great.
Vacation time and sick leave is on par with most large companies. Health benefits aren't great. 401K is matched to 50% with a Max of an couple thousand a year if I'm not mistaken.
The best part was the PTO.
