Maternity leave is about average.
Never had to used it so cannot comment on this directly , but base on the view point of many of my previous co workers there is definitely room for improvement.
Typical leave for mothers, and for fathers, just under the typical FMLA protocols. No additional paid leave benefits.
6 weeks given for males, however it's not often used because they do not allow you to make any sales while on leave.
Comcast recognizes the need to provide families with family time thus allowing not only maternity leave but paternity leave as well.
have not taken personally but standard to large companies
Havent used it, but colleagues that did, were very happy
Maternity/Paternity leave is offered at Comcast and some companies may not have this benefit. This is a plus.
Men get unpaid leave up to 1 month I believe and the women get paid leave 2 months I believe but if memory serves correct the women have to use up all their vacation and sick leave before using the remaining through the short term disability program and even then they have to be a vetted employee for more than 3 years I believe before compensation is paid out at the highest rate and thats based off your total years salary and or any commissions.
6 weeks of maternity/paternity leave
