Excellent health insurance with minimal employee/family contribution
The vacation time increases with seniority, up to 4 weeks per year.
The medical benefits are actually quite good. United Healthcare Choice and Choice Plus plans have a large network of providers (medical, mental health, specialty, dental and vision). The employee contribution per paycheck is also very affordable, compared to others. For a family plan under Choice (in network coverage only), it's currently $20 per pay check! (This will be changing in 2019, but is still only double digits.) After 2 years of employment, staff are eligible for tuition reimbursement for a relevant degree. There is also a 403(b) plan, but the employer match is not great. There is also access to EAP, Plum Benefits, Pre-tax FSA and Dependent Care and Transit Benefits. You may also be eligible for a cellphone carrier employee discount. Just show proof of employment to Verizon and based on your plan, they may discount your plan. The sites are supposed to be breastfeeding/pumping friendly, but some maybe more so than others. Maternity/paternity leave is covered under FMLA, but I've seen when a new father was asked to return to work only after 2 weeks...
United Healthcare insurance is great. Low copay and no coinsurance. Four weeks of paid time off per year
