very good benefits package and very competitive with other companies. also stock purchase plan is very good also
Tuition reimbursement was the top benefit offered. Health insurance coverage is very expensive (especially for such a large company). Flex time (remote work) is great but it is not company-wide, so it depends on whether your manager believes in it or not. Overall good benefits, but not outstanding.

Benefits are really only available to full time employees. In customer service, everyone starts as full time and you can be that way for over 3 years. Part timers only get 401k and healthcare. Other benefits such as stock and tuition reimbursement is only for full timers.
Con Edison has good benefits that are competitive in the job market. There are several choices that an employee can make regarding the type of plan(s) available. There is a 9% discount on ED stock that together with its current yield provides nearly 13% return on money plus capital appreciation. Work/home life is an extra benefit.
Best: Good education benefits. Full package of benefits Worst: takes too long for new employees to get to full vacation.
