It's best because you have them, the worst is that it is very minimal. 12 days vacation leave and 12 days sick leave for a year, and credited only staggeredly on the first day of each month and the number of unused VL and SL convertible to cash is limited only to 8 and 6 respectively. Unused and unconverted VL gets carried over to the following year while unused SLs become forfeited. Exempt employees don't get holiday pays if they work on holiday, they only get entitled to take PTO within 3 months , such is also not convertible to cash if the time lapsed or if you leave the company.
2 weeks paid vacation a year, accrued over the course of a year. 5 days paid sick leave per year.
The health insurance was average for the area, including free checkups at decent hospitals or nicer hospitals for a reduced rate.
6 paid holidays. 10 days paid time of for 1st 5 years, then 3 weeks for 6 through 9 years, and max out at 4 weeks in 10th year. Accrue sick time, but penalized for using it. Sick time is not paid out if you leave the company.

Vacation pay is very flexible. If we program with time and schedule everyone can get they time off easy.
