John Hancock: Company match of 2.5% of eligible earnings. Must contribute at least 5% to receive full match.
not up to par with other med device companies
Company will match up to 4% which is on the low side, but not completely out of line based on industry and area.
Company pays in a decent amount, but vests very slowly
must work a certain number of years to gain full match.
2% match is very low, but then again there used to be a 0% match a few years ago.
Fairly standard 401K plan that allows you to modify your contributions as you see fit. They just started it while I was there, so I don't have much to compare it to.
