“The HSA option is great, they contribute $600 per year in addition to your own contributions.”
Really good benefits package! Generous 401(k) matching
Time off during the school year
They have an HSA Program and offer basic dental, health and vision plans through Cigna. They take out money every pay check pre tax.
They will cover about $5200 in eduction related classes.
Connections Academy, in my state, provides the opportunity to continue being a part of the State benefits plan for health, dental, and vision insurance.
very limited PTO offered for employees
average benefits package at best
Over poor compared to other school districts. Most benefits are paid highly by employee unlike other places where it is paid by the school district.
Unlike most public schools they do NOT CONTRIBUTE or take part in the awesome SC PEBA State Benefits & Retirement Program. They offer something instead, but it's not for retirement and it's very expensive. They may say they give you the same thing, but if they do, it's at a much higher price. They aren't from SC and do not care about SC retirment, etc.
I like the options that are given. All insurance types are available.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
