Benefits and Perks
We've got the stuff you'd expect from a great company, like a competitive salary, unlimited vacation time, and standing desk options. But we've also got some fun perks like big parties for milestones, free soda and coffee, and occasional lunches—and don’t forget to ask us about Beer Cart Fridays. Here's a list:
Free breakfast on Monday mornings.
Benefits were surprisingly alright for such a sales-oriented company.
Great benefits at constant contact.
Health insurance is so-so (currently United).
Really great insurance. Free drinks and lots of snacks in the multiple kitchens
great benefits and awesome spot to start your career
I'm not sure if this is the same, but while I was there our 401(k) plan was great, there were stock options, and we had the option of a $0 insurance plan that was worth the cost.
- Time off is above average, and can be accrued more quickly as your tenor grows. However, rules of use got confusing with an update and even HR wasn't sure how to implement it correctly. Multiple employees have lost their jobs due to rigidity of rules and lack of clarity regarding them. - Health, dental and vision insurance were reasonable until the provider was changed, at which point policies became much more expensive and covered much less, unless you chose to do an invasive health program that involved recording all your lifestyle habits, blood work results, and then made you make improvements and report back or lose the savings. - Employee stock was an option until after acquisition. - Discounts on legal assistance, phone bills, gym memberships, etc. have always been great, though are difficult to find and use without assistance. - Free for Life Constant Contact accounts.
The switch in health care providers provided less options and also downgraded the overall benefit to the subscriber - higher co-pays, less coverage, etc.
The worst thing is that they are downgrading every year. This past year the medical switched from Blue Cross to United, which costs more and covers less, and the dental insurance changed from Blue Cross to Delta Dental.
