Amazing government benefits. First year you get 4 hrs of vacation per pay period, then by your second year it goes up to 6 hrs per pay period. Health insurance is very good, and the potential for a pension if you stay for 5 years is a great benefit.
time off oppurtunities are non existent due to travel and work assignments, no overtime but you will work over 40 hours.
Federal benefits so standard with other federal agencies
There really are not any complaints that I have regarding the benefits package. It is better than most federal agencies.
Good benefits including participation in Federal Reserve Board retirement, which comes with a pension that vests after 5 years. Most managers permit telework.
Excellent retirement savings match; FSA account; paid holidays (standard federal); short and long term disability; faster earning of leave than at other agencies
Since CFPB is on the Federal Reserve payscale, it tends to be more attractive to experienced private sector talent
Best: Telework, Alternative Work Schedules (one extra day off every two weeks), Maternity/Paternity leave, Dental, Vision Worst: Employees foot a large portion of their health insurance coverage, we could easily have full-time telework for many jobs which would eliminate the need for a building renovation, and you typically cannot invest in the stock market while holding any role here
the best part is the 401k match.
Employer matches employee contribution in 401k.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
