It is A LA CARTE. You can pick and choose what you want. We have health, dental, vision, AD&D, STD, LTD, cancer and accident supplemental policies, life insurance too. 401k match also. Company pays for 1x annual base pay for the employee for AD&D and Life Insurance for the employee, but the employee can choose additional for themselves and their dependents.
Benefits are awesome, 401K, medical, dental, vision, bonuses. We also do fund raisers monthly to boost moral of employees and give back to the community.
I did not like the Acuity scale
Best thing about the benefits was that it was cheaper than the Marketplace/Obamacare and the worst was the removal of HSA which was a benefit that the employee chooses to pay for in order to receive employer quarterly contributions towards medical expenses. FSA is employee contributions that are deducted from their own paycheck.
GREAT 401K match and health benefits
You may earn PTO (paid time off); however, you are not able to always use it. Company policy is use it or lose it but having it approved is not always easy. Health plan is high deductible which now seems the norm but company does offer vison, dentist, short term and long term disability insurance as well as additional life insurance. Company also offers 401K with match.
Premiums continue to climb everywhere but our benefits are still good. Our benefit department leaves a LOT to be desired though! Getting an answer is like pulling teeth. The 401k is a mess and people are getting notices of loans in default and contributions are not sent in timely.
