    Time off? They won't let you hear the end of it. They start to hold personal vandetta against you if you take too much time off. You start to get personally attacked, even if you had the PTO bank available. If your boss has no personal life, expect them to expect you don't either.

    you are give according to how long you have been with the company, but hours are accrued and sometimes in case of emergencies people may need the hours right away
