Awesome perks and benefits. Health plan and 401k plan are particularly good!
Standard benefits 401K match, catered lunch,
Coupang has great benefits, I don't pay anything!
18 Days PTO, but no sick days, could be much better as a tech company in Seattle. Dental, Medical and Vision is free as long as you stay within budget. Flexible working hours make up for the days you stay until early evenings because meetings with Seoul HQ. kitchen is well equipped, free lunches from Tuesday-Thursday. could be better but loving it so far. Also, strategic location for metro users since driving to downtown Seattle is a nightmare.
No floating holidays which are sick days- 3 per year 15 vacation days that don't go up by tenure. Most comparable companies have 20 days off per year. Silicon valley office has lunch 5 days a week while Seattle office just 2 days a week. Just make it 5 days for Seattle and close the deal on employee retention .
Coupang is the rare tech company in Seattle that does not provide paid sick time off beyond 3 floating holidays which have to use if you miss work for sickness. Beyond 3 days, you have to use your vacation days. So employees that fall sick more than 3 days a year are essentially forced to come to work sick and make others sick. The HR benefits coordinators need to think this through and start providing paid sick time that accrues with time.
Best : Sick leaves, generous holidays Worst: Not having a well defined professional development or training program, so so retirement program (401k)
100% paid benefits with Medical (Kaiser or Aetna), Dental and Vision. 401K match. Pre-IPO stock options. 120 hours PTO and 15 Holidays. Catered lunches twice per week. Happy hour every Wednesday. Flexible working hours + working from home. Gym and cell phone allowance.
