Great coverage at very low rates. Much better than plans at most other employers.
My wife had cancer and fought for almost 4 years before passing. Cox paid over $600K for her during that time. In all the claims made, I only had to call the insurance company twice. And, both were resolved in that call. Submitting pharmacy claims could be easier. Mailing in forms is a bit of a hassle, but I created a simple pre-completed template in Acrobat and simply had to tape the receipt to the form, sign and mail. After your deductible you get 80% of prescription drugs reimbursed and 100% once max out of pocket. This is good insurance and did what it was meant to do; relieved of us financial worry during a major illness.
Although the coverage is cheap, it does not cover much. Too many exclusions in the policy.
The only area i think the coverage is lacking is not having a prescription card. Mailing in prescriptions is just not easy
compatible to most companies but they also offer a company insurance that is more affordable
No negatives, excellent is probably not strong enough to describe them.
Best insurance I have ever carried with low premium and hardly there deductibles
Average company contribution for health benefits.
