Depending on your level it is difficult to get time off approved. The staff have it easier with the union to back them up, but middle management and first level supervisors have a more challenging experience.

You accrue it per pay period after your probation ends.

Use it or lose it. Can't cash out unused vacation days and they don't roll over.
