Best thing: They have a thorough health insurance (am using a different plan) and 50% discounts for team members on food with 100% discount for managers. Worst thing: Can only use employee discount once a day-30 min before or after a shift, or during your shift. Not when you are not scheduled or wanted to make two payments.
Could get plenty of time off. Revived 50% off food during my shift as long as it was under $10 total. And after hurricane Irma I received the food for free.
Flexible hours. There is no insurance plan or vacation time. You can request off and usually you can get the days off but don’t expect to be paid.
For part-time you get 50% off of your food before, during or after work
I worked for 2 restaurants so far and the benefits change from store to store depending on the owner, since most of them are from different franchisees. this can be either good or bad. One store had no benefits other one had aprox the chance to make around 300 a month.
Only good thing I saw while working was free meals as a manager. We were supposed to get some type of bonus but the owner took it away.
Worst thing about Culver's was the entire development and staff. Shady people and too much favoritism. Best part of the day is when they let you go home.
No discussion of any benefits besides employee discounts.
You get the option of buying into their insurance coverage but it is almost twice as much as you would pay if you just went on the marketplace to find it yourself. And if you want to add your dependents it is outrageous! You get sick time (PTO) but that is because it is state mandated and that is considered your vacation. If you try to change your availability or schedule you just get your hours cut to "teach you a lesson" The whole company set up is ridiculous and even the owners are confused as to what to do and what is going on.
Christmas bonus. Employee food discount. 401k
