Depending on your manager they can make you use your vacation for all sick days
Cannot compare to other industry.. but in MFG, it's still competitive.
Interns don't get PTO which makes sense. Full times get 2 weeks on top of the 2 weeks during the New Years holidays. Its not a lot.
Vacation is dependent on years you've worked for both hourly and exempt. You start off with 2 weeks, and it goes up a week after years 5, 10 (it might have been 15), and 20. Hourly office union employees got an additional 2 personal days for the last contract. They do not get sick days.
Only 2 weeks for the first five years then 3 to 15 years...blah. Standard 10 paid holidays.
10 days for new hire. Takes 5 years to bump up to 15 days

Manage will give you adequate time for time off....
Vacation and paid time off depended on whether you were an hourly employee or salaried. In the distributor DBU, they are trying to align the vacation time with Cummins as a whole, but they are not there yet.
