The best thing about dsg is that ypu can get discounts on expensive items and helps ypu out if tou are in a sport. Worst part is that management in workers is neglected

I think the benefits are pretty decent. Some are better than my previous employer, others are worse and it just depends on what you're willing to prioritize. For my family, the health benefits were significantly cheaper at Dick's under the high deductible plan. The 401k is a better match, but takes longer to receive a contribution and is only matched once per year. Stock incentives are also a nice perk, as is the employee discount and other miscellaneous perks throughout the year.
Low pay, benefits stink. You don't get a raise if you get promoted to full time
The employee discount is 25% with exclusions on many items, including Yeti's, some higher priced sunglasses, some golf clubs, items that are on sale or clearance, and more. Customers consistently receive 20% off coupons. Employees earn sick time, however, management will not tell you that you have accrued it or that is available, even if you call out sick. Employees can accrue sick hours indefinitely while working, however only 24 hours can be used in a year, and any remaining sick hours when quitting will not be paid out. Dental insurance is offered to part-time employees and full-time employees. Health insurance is only offered to full-time employees.
