Dish is generous with its paid vacation. After 12 calendar months you earn a total of 40 hours and after 5 calendar rears- 160.

Vacation time and sick time are one and the same. You do not have any extra days for becoming ill. Also, you need to request at least 60 days out to get approved for any vacation.

There are no sick days! Vacation days are earned slowly and you cannot submit vacation days more than 90 days in advance or less than 24 hours in advance. The number of days allowed are limited to 2 per skill so if you need a day off 90 days in advance you have to be on your a-game to request the day off before someone beats you to that day off.

The best thing is that the company does offer vacation and paid time off. The worst thing is that they DO NOT offer SICK TIME

They offered vacation and sick time.

They give you a bank of 40 hours PTO that you can borrow but you have to accrue them. Part time employees HAVE to accrue the hours before they can take any PTO OR sick time. It was just implemented that there's be 40 hours for PTO for sick time, but YOU HAVE to call in as being sick. SO, it's a total bank of 80 hours total.

Not the worst I've had, not the best. Employees acquired recently lost two paid vacation days.
