I think the time off policy was fair. you accrue as you go along and they let you borrow time
15 days off is ok. However, with the core hours policy (9am-4pm) and no work from home, these days go quickly.
3 weeks PTO (can be used either for vacation or illness) per year for first 5 years of employment.
Start at 3 weeks/year PTO. Additional week starting at 5th anniversary.
They gave you advanced time off when you didnt have any time off hours
One of the best I have seen for a large company. After just teo short years you are offered 3 weeks of PTO time.
15 days a year isn't bad, many have less.
Dish is generous with its paid vacation. After 12 calendar months you earn a total of 40 hours and after 5 calendar rears- 160.
Vacation time and sick time are one and the same. You do not have any extra days for becoming ill. Also, you need to request at least 60 days out to get approved for any vacation.
There are no sick days! Vacation days are earned slowly and you cannot submit vacation days more than 90 days in advance or less than 24 hours in advance. The number of days allowed are limited to 2 per skill so if you need a day off 90 days in advance you have to be on your a-game to request the day off before someone beats you to that day off.
