Standard benefits for a large corporation. Overall benefits were good, could have used a little more vacation and a little less sharing on the costs of healthcare
Best: Stock options for 1+ year employees, bonuses every year, flexibility to work from home. Worst: Health insurance options, lack of 401k match, limited PTO rollover.
It is an Employee-owned firm
The benefits package is great. Love the fact that part time employees can have access to full benefits.
Perks of the benefits package are full health, dental, vision, accidental death, life insurance, etc.. The 401k plan was nice but, the health benefits were high deductible and DLR Group covers very little of that expense since it's employee owned. You can participate in an annual program that gives you a deduction on your monthly payment for health insurance, though so, that was nice. The Profit sharing was a nice perk as well but, it was never a cash bonus only an amount (based off overall company performance) and deposited into your retirement plan. There were other options for health, like FSA but, neither really seemed worth the money. DLR Group does offer FMLA and bereavement leave for males and females, which was really nice.
Expensive health insurance, limited leave
health care, health care incentive, vision
Best: Employee ownership Worst: Raises, annual bonuses
Overall work /life balance is better than most firms. Salaries are competitive for architecture and design firms and in-office perks are adequate. All in all, its an enjoyable place to work.
Best: 401K, stocks Worst: Bonus
