The vacation and PTO is now standard compared to other companies. You used to be able to roll over multiple weeks if not used before the end of the year.
Good but with the change people that have been with the company along time lost days when they went to PTO.
Tenure Employees max out at six weeks. Everyone starts with two weeks and get an I an increase every few years.
Several years ago the employees lost three holidays and five days of sick leave when the company went to only PTO. I was grandfathered in so I only lost five days per year; however, other employees ended up losing more.
You can’t use your vacation time
Best: Ability to use PTO for any situation. Worse no ability to carry over and puts risk of being unpaid at end of year.
4-6 weeks based on experience
Generous PTO plan, allows for flexibility
Hard to use due to multiple employees wanting same date off.
Good accrual for vacation time based on longevity.
