The vacation plan is very solid.

Unlimited vacation but that, of course, sounds too good to be true because it is. You technically have unlimited vacation but approval is completely at the supervisor's discretion.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Principal in Chicago, Illinois

typical 3weeks, but fewer holidays than normal.

  • Jan 30, 2019
StarStarStarStarStar Former Employee in Washington, District of Columbia

No accrued vacation, time off negotiated with manager. Avoids payouts in states that require payment of accrued vacation.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Analyst in Roseville, California

There isn't a limit so they basically owe you nothing when you leave.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Systems Engineer in Auburn Hills, Michigan

They actually took our unlimited sick days from us when we transitioned from HPE to DXC. Took four holidays away also - even day after Thanksgiving!!!

DXC Technology has unlimited PTO, which requires manager approval. You need to plan your PTO well in advance so project work is planned around it.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Tysons, Virginia

Unlimited vacation time with approval from manager

  • Sep 24, 2018
StarStarStarStarStar Current Information Systems Analyst in Conway, Arkansas

Unlimited vacation for a vested employee

  • Sep 23, 2018
StarStarStarStarStar Former Manager in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Unlimited time seems great, but it's not really true, because no one can afford to take that much time off, plus any time over 2 weeks must be approved by HR VP.
