Paid time off accrual is disappointingly low for a large organization. Most employees are forced to use their limited PTO time for national holidays due to the structure of the company. You can't work on a holiday, and you are automatically charged PTO.
not enough coverage so can't take much time off.
Holidays, PTO, and sick days are all in the same bucket.
They were very flexible with vacation
Not a large amount of people available to fill time off. Usually granted but with the feeling of guilt for taking it!
Calculated based on longevity with the company with a cap of 120 hours per year. More than 120 hours can't be rolled over and will be lost even if one is employed in an understaffed center that doesn't permit teammates to take PTO.
144 hour bank of pto. You earn PTO every day you work, you can keep up to 144 hours before you don’t earn anymore.
You accumulate about 6 hours every 2 weeks. There’s no seperate sick/personal days. If they’re closed for I.e. storm.. you use your pto to cover the day. about 6-8 paid company holidays.
My rmployer is giving me what I am due. The pay is worth the overtime. It has been balanced.
PTO starts accruing immediately upon hire. 4 weeks PTO on my first year! Can be used for sick days of just time off.
