While the medical/dental benefits are better than most, they won't cover your spouse (as primary coverage) if he/she has access to benefits from their own employer. The result is you end up paying twice as much for insurance.
Great Health Insurance with only a copay
Pay to get you in the door is competitive, but once you are in, raises are small; usually below cost of living. Your raise might go to the guy who goes golfing with the boss.
First year is pro-ranted, after that is 4 weeks of PTO. Though you can't carry over, you can sell back over a week worth at the end of the year.
A couple of quirks: 1. If your spouse has access to insurance, that has to be their primary insurance. 2. Vacation, while not bad, is a bit old school.
Benefits are great! Vacation time is great! They could have better Maternity leave, they only have short term disability.
Spouse cannot be covered by health insurance if insurance is offered through their current employer.
