Dental insurance is the ugly stepchild of the insurance world, apparently. You would think that you would get more coverage based on what you pay monthly.
Do not use because after paying can't afford to use.
It is decent coverage for basic things but has a max of $1500 a year and doesn't cover much for things like braces for a child.
You have to pay for this yourself. Good thing it is only about 5 dollars every month.
They don't cover composite (tooth colored) fillings, only the silver ones. I didn't know this until the fillings were completed, so I had to pay the difference.
I have the PPO plan and though it says preventative is covered, it is not.
Good dental plans to choose from and good premiums.
It only covers routine maintenance. It is better than nothing. If you have dental problems, don't expect help from this plan..
Very little co-pay for all basic services.
