Doesn’t cover anything until you meet a $1400 (for an individual; higher on a family plan) deductible, and then if covers at 90% (for things like in-network physician visits) to 70% (seeing a therapist, etc). If you live far away, like so many employees do, very little is “in network”. If there’s any way for you to get any other insurance, do. Honestly, the bad insurance is one of the reasons I left and don’t feel totally comfortable recommending DH as a place to work.
The deductibles and co-insurance are insanely high! If you need anything more than your annual physical, plan to use all of your HSA for the year. The plan is also not kind to people who live outside of the immediate area of Lebanon since most of VT and southern NH are out of network.
Every year the price of health insurance rises. Conveniently, the increase seems to match the average raise given - if raises were given that year at all.
Expensive if you have dependents but coverage is robust
Very high copays and out of pocket expenses. The dental insurance is terrible. Covers very little outside of a routine cleaning.
extremely high deductibles for a medical facility, lab costs are expensive and you can only see them or Elliot Hospital for procedures or referrals
They were putting in less and less every year so my pay was decreasing significantly
DHMC contracted carrier changes yearly and I believe they try really hard to provide the best coverage
Not good for Southern New Hampshire employees, good for Lebanon employees
Very few options. Expensive premiums, subpar coverage.
