Benefits are fine. Health insurance is a little expensive.
403b is a good opportunity
Since working at a hospital it makes it easier to stay within network when choosing your own hlthcare providers.
Health insurance sucked! Period! You can only use physicians in the Dekalb Medical network. Some specialties aren't available, and they are strictly survey driven.
the benefits are pretty good. but if you make the minimum then you probably wont be able to afford to put your children on the plans. no raises. hopefully when they get bought out they can restructure somethings
I'm grateful to have benefits but the premium is too high and so are the copays.
PTO was low compared to market, merit increases were non existent, health insurance was limited in choice and hospital constantly said can not afford to make it any better.
The health insurance is horrible, you never know what the bill in the mail is going to be.
You have to use PTO for holidays; no choice given. If you're short on your 40 hours by the end of a payroll week you HAVE to use PTO to make up the difference, as of fall 2016. I have the HRA individual medical plan; standard HRA bal is $600; covered 80/20 after $1500 ded. Unfortunately as of 2016 you can only use your HRA dollars for Tier 1 (Dekalb Medical) physicians. Limited gynecology physicians in tier 1; only 2. So I'll be paying out of pocket for my gyn who is tier 3
