Generous PTO, Inexpensive medical/dental for Family. Not fond of FSA, wish HSA was offered.
Aetna is our health provider and isn’t as commonly accepted in Utah as Select Health
When I was there dental and 401k was ok but health insurance was expensive with the company; it was around $300 a month for a low deductible health plan and $100 with a high deductible plan (which, when I was there, did not pay for prescriptions, checkups).
Plenty of Paid time off
No more pension. 24 days pto. Mail order pharmacy only.
The rate of pay is standard and non-negotiable Health Insurance (Aetna) Employer Plan is trash -requires you pay 100% of medication cost up front and be reimbursed 80% after you meet deductible (this sucks for someone paying $2000 for a 30 day supply of medicine.
Sick days are included in 5 weeks vacation, so need to save some PTO for being sick. (Not the worst case scenario) - Health and dental insurance are better than what they were pre-Cox migration. But they still have a lot of out-of pocket fees. They could be better.
Good 401k plan, fairly decent PTO, great new office
Good vacation, good 401K, medical insurance includes Aetna that is a little pricey
Pension is no longer available for new hires, but they will match 401k up to 6% dollar for dollar. Health care is good, but prescription coverage is not the best.
