Everything about DCCC is great!!!
Outstanding benefits package with good rates for families. Short term disability not included but available for purchase during annual enrollment period.
Comprehensive benefits package (health, insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement, etc.) not only for employee but family
Even as a part timer I am getting nice benefits - a PSERS retirement plan with a contribution well matched by the Employer. You don't see this everywhere ...
-503b Retirement Plan through TIAA-CREF (employee contributes 5% of salary; employer contributes 10%) -4 day weeks over the summer -231 hours of personal and vacation time
Offered to almost everyone at a decent cost/ Almost not an option to decline some benefit deductions (you may not want to)
Best: Decent health benefits, Aetna HMO at the time of this review. Employees pay only 5% of cost. Vision and dental insurance are covered completely by employer. Benefits are extended to domestic partners. Retirement plan with matching is offered to both full and part-time employees. Tuition waiver for classes taken at DCCC and tuition reimbursement for bachelor's/master's/doctorate programs for employees, their spouses, and dependents Sick and vacation time rollover each year. Paid holidays. Paid week off between Christmas and New Year's Day. Worst: Aetna is a pain to work with. Maternity leave is standard FMLA w/no pay
the best thing is TIAA cref access - even if you are part time, you can roll some of your funds into this account. There is guaranteed 3% interest.
Only a retirement plan for adjunct
