190 employees reported this benefit
it was 20% of your base salary so guess it was nice
At the highest individual contributor levels, you'll receive an annual bonus = 15-25% of your base income.
Long term cash incentives are offered on a limited basis
This benefit, again, is the best I have ever received. Based upon employee's performance, the yearly bonus is beyond fair. The requirements Dell places on their employees is absolutely fair as well, in my opinion.
ok Rate Dell for their Performance Bonus
Got OK yearly raises (bonus)
Only if the company makes money and only if you are the top performer on the team will you get an annual bonus payout. Annual performance raises are not annual, but more like every 18 months if we are lucky. I have averaged 1.1% per year performance raise over a 10 year period even with satisfactory or above annual ratings.
-targeted bonuses based on job grade adjusted by company performance (this year 80% of target, last year 130%) Shrinking markets and massive debt soon to be on the books I'd expect the norm to be annual reduction of bonus %.
There used to be individual and business department modifiers for bonuses, but later all were canceled. Now almost everyone gets paid same amount of bonus, which is showing Dell is a start up, except it is NOT. There're big sales teams focusing on generating revenue and engineering teams work on R&D better compensated and appreciated by other companies, so this strategy totally expels hard workers.
They will give once yearly bonuses depending on how you, your organization and how the business as a whole is doing.
