Deloitte’s Total Rewards program reflects our continued commitment to offering a comprehensive variety of programs and resources to support your health and wellness needs.
The best thing is being paid hourly, the worst thing is the random cut off date on Thursday's at noon.
I have worked for several 100's, this is the best.
pto, work from home, health, dental, vision
Great benefits, even for contract employees!
Overall the benefits are great at Deloitte. I personally like that Deloitte offers a health subsidy which can be used to gym memberships, wear-ables, and other activities for health and wellness.
- Offers what you would expect from a firm of this size - 401(k) matching, pension, etc.; Very solid selection of medical coverage in particular from the comprehensive to bare bones; 5 weeks of PTO starting out as a junior hire - Travel assistance programs could be better especially considering that consultants are often on the road
Best the benefits package of health insurance and travel package
Health insurance, well being subsidy of $500 annually and 5 weeks PTO
Crazy amount of vacation time for an entry level position. Five weeks is unheard of at most companies. They also provide a health and fitness incentive - $500 a year which was nice
Quite deceptive package being offered. Benefits are pretty good on the face of it. Lots of options for time off. Problem is if you use them you are penalized by PPDs indirectly even though policy allows for time off. Vacation time you get is reasonable, about 3 weeks per year. However, time you have to work while on vacation is high. Plus conference calls at all times of the evening or morning. This depends who you are collaborating with and what time zone they are in. Worst is the 401k matching is 1.5% which is quite bad. Bounces are awful, 8% for managers on average, less for consultants and more for Senior Managers. Pay is reasonable on a yearly basis. However, if looked at on an hourly basis pay is very low. Amount of time that is required of job, (travel plus additional time beyond 40hrs per week) that is needed is between 55 and 65 yours per week. This estimate includes billable yours and non-billable (PRD) hours expected of you to get promoted. Add in travel time and the hourly pay rate decreases more. To summarize, the compensation package is poor on an hourly basis compared to a comparable position in industry. The value proposition is to make partner/principal and endure the below industry compensation while you chase the brass ring of partner. Best way to use Deloitte is to spead a few years on the job and meet people in industry that you would like to work for the leave Deloitte. Really good vehicle for job interviews. This is the way must informed people treat their time at Deloitte. Turn-over rate of Deloitte is between 27% - 30% per year!!!!!!
