Delta offers paid vacation and holidays to eligible employees.
Great flexibility as a front line employee to trade and swap to get days covered or give them away for additional time off.
Weeks of vacation grow with seniority
One of the perks of Airline flying is the time off (days off). But you have to remember that when you go to work you are gone for days of even weeks. No coming home at the end of the day to walk the dog or see your spouse or help your children do their homework. It's definitely a sacrifice for those stretches of days off. Vacation day pay is less than a normal day's pay.
While I was working I thought the Vacations & without Pay Time Off was generous. It used to be you could earn up to 6 weeks off with time in service, then they cut it to 4 weeks, and I believe it is now either 2 or 3 weeks max. But if you work holidays you can choose either paid holidays or save the holiday to be used as vacation.
it is great having this benefit
I heard it can go from 2 to 5 weeks of paid vacation.
10 holidays paid Sick time about 50 hours a year 4 week off paid
Each full time employee is given two weeks of paid time off per calendar year. The only downside is that those two weeks do not roll over into the next year. You have to exhaust them within that year.
PTO goes by seniority because I only worked for Delta 2 years I never got to use it unless I was out sick. Good vacation package
just put in your time off and youre done
