The best part of the job is that you obtain flying privileges. However, the worst part of the flying privileges is that you fly standby
Great simulators, agreeable scheduling, passes for travel.
Travel benefits were really nice. The buyout isn't affecting much if you were hired before Jan. 1, 2019. Unfortunately you are no longer eligible for benefits that are realistic for someone that wants to travel. Was perfect for a student however.
Hard work, not worth the pay. Flight benefits are cool but don't make up for it.
It’s a great company. You do have to adapt to constant. Hangs. The flight benefits are pretty cool.
The health insurance benefits were terrible.
Great flight benefits on Delta Airlines.
Flight benefits make the job worth it and make up for the low pay to an extent.
If you work more than 3/4 time you get access to insurance benefits, 401K and flight benefits. Unfortunately, DGS does not pay any portion of insurance premiums and does not match any contributions to 401K. Flight benefits are fantastic. Unfortunately, standby flying is limited because if you are late for work you get in big trouble and you never know if you will get on the last flight home before your shift. I usually end up returning home early to give myself a buffer.
Flights benefits with Delta were great, and also the only other benefits.
