  • Sick Pay  (13 comments)

“They give you sick pay, however be careful how you use it. If you're sick for too long, you won't get any pay at all after you get axed.”

  • Flexible Working  (4 comments)

“This is generally cool until they start to stalk your working hours and need to create a reason to write you up.”

  • Pension Plan  (3 comments)

You are allowed to have a flexible working schedule and sick pay. Benefits are the only good thing about the DWP, honestly.

The salary is quite good and 25 days annual leave which is nice. Also you had build up flexi leave by working extra hours and once built up you can take time off as agreed by manager

The best thing is the flexi policy. The worst thing is the pay freeze

Flexible working, pension, discount scheme, annual and public holidays. Best part of benefit package is the flexible working, the rest can be found with most other employers.

Base salary for the level of seniority compared to private sector, which pays 100%-200% higher.
