I believe the best thing about the benefits package is the 401k and the metro transportation program the company offers to compensate for travel expenses.

The best is the work life balance elements - telework flexibility, professional development budget, internal training, range of plans for health care. 401K not as generous as some consulting firms.
The company continues to review and adapt its benefits as it continues to grow. The parental leave policy is a positive example. It has a very flexible telework policy.
As a consultant, you are on your own. They do not even take out taxes or provide a W2, which would be really helpful, particularly if requested by a consultant. I appreciate the flexibility with consulting.
