DAS covers the majority of the cost of medical insurance premiums for full time employees as individuals and a large percent for spouse/dependents. Coverage for same sex partners is also recognized. Eligablity begins the 1st day of the calender month after you start. Coverage includes medical, dental and vision benefits.
Lots of good perks/benefits, including: half days on fridays; 401k is about to start matching; student loan assistance; veterinary discount program; monthly free lunches; $20 gym credit (through insurance); and everyone (not just sales) has a chance to go on the president's club trip (usually tropical). They take good care of people. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't have a good comparison or hasn't worked here in a long time.
From holidays to medical/vision/dental DAS is very generous. They have more perks than I can probably remember off the top of my head. They've recently added assistance with student loans and a pet owner discount program. DAS also recognizes longevity of employment by offering anniversary days to those who stay at least 2 years. Each year after 2 years of employment, you receive an additional day off. This paired with the 2 weeks vacation, would ultimately add up to 3 weeks PTO. They also offer sick days, bereavement pay, short/long disability pay, and summer half days for June, July and August. The only negative I can think of in this department is the lack of matching 401k but this is a benefit the company is working on putting together. Given how generous they have been, I expect this perk will make its way to the benefits package in the near future.
Health Insurance is great, they give you plenty of PTO and lots of paid Holiday's
The company was very sensitive to keeping it affordable and tailored to the younger workforce.
Operates on an HMO, insufficient maternity leave.
They have pet insurance too. :)
I got nothing as I was just an intern
This company is very caring toward employees, and goes above and beyond to provide perks and amazing benefits.
You max out your vacation at 80 hours, but you get plenty of personal time and sick time. There's very competitive pay and your benefits start the following month of employment (no 90 day wait)
Great benefits. Everything was upgraded this year. As the company grows they are always adding more. This year they added extra paid days off for your work anniversary, 1/2 day Fridays during the summer months and Food Truck Friday's in the offices for fun. Plus, lots of important benefits were upgraded as well.
