For our exempt employees, we offer FTO, meaning vacation when you need it and not when you dont. At Digital River, we believe that everyone is an adult and wants to work hard so that the company succeeds.
Unlimited time off but how much is too much?
The Vacation and Paid Time Off was very fair. Perhaps, even better than average. There was talk of salaried employees would receive unlimited PTO in they year 2016, but no official confirmation on that topic.
Unlimited time off, with guidelines and exceptions.

15 days off for the first year and increases for every 3-4 years you are at the company
2 weeks is an unacceptable to call it 'standard' in the 21st century. It should be higher and not predicated on terms of service.
Unlimited PTO which can be good or bad, depending on your manager.
More PTO would be ideal. Five weeks is not enough.
Paid time off caps at eight years of service. Now that the company has employees reaching much longer trends of employment, they should consider another tier.
