    Below average for the Colorado Area, just like the pay at DG. One of the many, many reasons it's a terrible place to work. Vacation and comp time are nothing different than any other vanilla tech company in Boulder valley. Retirement is straight out of the Vanguard portfolio with no additional perks. Comp time is offered, but you will not get the chance to use it. A truly terrible place to work, with awful people who took advantage of a person whpse wife was battling breast cance

    Very good for family coverage. Dental is pretty good, 50% or so for crowns, endodontics ( root canal ). Orthodontics coverage is better ( braces for kids was well covered ). I used the PPO and never used the HSA ( Health Savings ) as generally we don't expect to use physicians for more than routine checkups/etc. Copay is ok and monthly deductions are very reasonable.

    They don't pay the most, but they do value their workers. The non-monetary benefits include excellent insurance, great (4 week) vacation time, 8% match on 50% of 401k contributions, gym, frisbee golf course, and playroom at the HQ.

    Nextera is super convenient and we are so lucky as employees to have a Leadership and HR Team that provide this kind of benefit to employees. Also, our FTO time off benefit allows me to balance my family and work responsibilities. I am proud to work for a company that truly cares for it's employees rather than one that just manages to a number. We are not numbers and we have choices of where to work and as of now, I choose to work for DigitalGlobe. I have heard that MDA has plans to significantly cut our benefits and I hope they are not this short sighted and ignorant to the things that make DG a great place to work. Without the best employees, the business would suffer and fall short of investor expecations.

    your PTO is capped at 100 hours but you can't take more than 2 consecutive weeks off without VP approval. health insurance is fine but, if you need short or long term disability, expect to not get it. also expect zero support from HR. and expect your pay and PTO to always be wrong. apparently data tracking is difficult for HR.
