One of the few companies that have a retirement plan for employees. Hooray for this commitment. It really puts meaning to the words when they say that they value their employees. Employees have flexibility in the plans and building the portfolio they choose.

Dignity Match for nurses= "25% of the first 6% of your contribution.." Sounds good, right? NO. It's a manipulation of the stupidest sort: 25% of the first 6% of a max 24K employee retirement contribution to their 401K equals... drum roll... $360. Yes, that's right. The employee contributes 24K and the company match is..$360. Oh, and the defined benefit pension plan? GONE for new hires on the new CNA contract. READ THE FINE PRINT. Match is everything. .25x.06x$24000= $360 is not a match, it's a joke. I'm sure they passed around big cigars on getting that into the contract. " Twenty five percent of the first six percent...". Big laughs, I'm sure. The joke is on any young nurse who hires on at Dignity Health. READ THE FINE PRINT. Find a fair deal, don't surrender your youth to a company that stoops this low.
