The benefits package at Discovery was probably the best I've ever had in my career, so far. They treat their employees well (from a benefits package perspective) but with such high turn-over and a constantly changing approach to their businesses, it's not a place a lot of people desire to stay very long. The average, I'd say, is 3-5 years max, unless you're a VP, in which case, you'll do almost anything to stay.
Discovery offers full benefits, Health, dental, vision, 401K, Life insurance, discounts, etc.
The best thing about the benefits package at Discovery Communications - Cheap life insurance & great coverage thru UHG The best or worst thing about the benefits package at Discovery Communications - the work life balance all work no life so you cannot take advantage of the tuition reimbursement. Also some benefits are only for Silver Springs, NY & LA locations, so the remainder of the company misses out.
Good benefits. Very responsive to employee needs.
nothing was offered, was an intern with Discovery so benefits arent relevant to me. 11/hr wage and nothing included on top of that.
Generous vacation benefits at Discovery
Best health insurance ever! A lot of in-network doctors & affordable deductibles to specialists like chiropractors. Also includes $25 fitness reimbursement.
Health insurance is top notch, and bonus eligibility is a great plus.
Company does invest in its employees, onsite medical clinic, daycare, 401k match, paid maternity leave, lactation rooms. But constant layoffs.
The benefits are the best!! really take care of their employees
