Overall good plan but doesn't enable enough flexibility for religious holidays.
You get them paid out when they eliminate your position in another re-org
There's always more than enough PTO available and you accumulate more the longer you're with the company.
3 weeks vacation + personal + sick days
Standard 3 weeks a year is NOT across the board. I was a full time employee for 3.5 years. I had 2 weeks vacation. It would have moved to 3 weeks AFTER 4 years. PLEASE NOTE: 3 weeks is NOT standard. IT DEPENDS ON WHAT "BAND" you are in. Band is your category or your level. Anyone who said they got 3 weeks STANDARD was at a pretty good level. I had 20 years cable TV Experience and my title was COORDINATOR. I pitched to my manager and HR to have my BAND and vacation time changed to match my experience but THAT NEVER HAPPENED. PLEASE NOTE: 3 weeks standard is ONLY at a certain level.
Vacation and Paid Time Off are very acceptable to the standard. Every year you work, you gain more. However, I do not believe unused days carry over or get reimbursed at the end of the year.
