The worst thing about the dental plan is that there isn't one.
There is nothing wrong with the package if you read it. I took health insurance with the company when I became full time. I started a 401k within six months of being with the company, the company matches dollar for dollar on the 401k
It took me almost 3 months to see a dentist for a cracked tooth only to be told when I showed up for the appointment It wasn't part of my health policy but I could include it when i renewed my policy in six months
There is no dental insurance.
It is relatively expensive as compared to other companies.
I have to say it is one of the best plans I have seen from a retail company. It actually covers a lot of dental issues and is quite cheap compared to other company's.
Based on the plan you choose the benefits can be really good for the maximum plan you pay 20% of major issues all preventive care is free
I don't receive any health or dental benefits from Dollar General nor do I think they even offer it to part-time associates and if they do than I know that they would charge a lot and take a bunch of money out of my little paychecks that I do get, so really it's not worth it.
Deductible too high to use, better off getting State Insurance.
Dental is costly and doesn't cover the basic and has high deductible
