    They offer holiday pay, where employees are paid on observed holidays even if the office is closed and no one is working. Also match up to 50% of employee contributions per year for the 401k, you accrue PTO that rolls over into the next year if you don't use it, and there is a generous health, dental and vision plan.

    The benefits are not very good, especially Medical. PTO must be accrued and doesn't go up until after 5 years.

    Health insurance is nothing to brag about, the 401knis pretty standard, the PTO/vacation days is way above average.

    they offer your standard benefits package. they only offer you 14 days of leave time. That is sick and vacation all included so use it wisely

    Probably the worst benefits for a real estate company of its kind. 3 weeks PTO includes sick time, so if they were going by the law which gives roughly 2 weeks mandated sick time per year when working full time, you're effectively only getting one week of PTO. Also the health insurance employee contribution is expensive, even for a single person, and the copays and out of pocket costs are higher than what I paid when enrolled in CoveredCA (at its highest cost without qualifying for financial assistance!). Not to mention that you don't qualify for health insurance in your first two months of employment (maximum allowed by law) so be prepared to purchase your own insurance or face the $700 penalty for lapse in coverage. Douglas Emmett also doesn't have an education reimbursement program and does not cover professional memberships which is industry-standard for similar companies.

    They pay $15/hr and benefits are $137 each paycheck for SINGLE employees. That is $274 each month for health insurance. I have to work more than 18 hours a month - nearly 220 hours a year - just to pay for the insurance they offer. At $137 each paycheck, employees pay $3,562 per year for the coverage Douglas Emmett offers. It's a joke. They will not take care of you - why take care of the company? They don't want to help their employees otherwise it wouldn't be nearly $300 a month for SINGLE coverage on $15/hr. For someone making $15/hr, it is hard to be able to pay $3,562 per year for coverage. Family coverage is so expensive hardly anyone (except the executives in their ivory tower) can afford it.
