At Dow, we recognize our employees’ outstanding efforts and contributions, and we offer a compensation and benefits package which is considered top tier in our industry.
The best is pay and health insurance and also there's paid time off. Co pays should be less
One of the very few companies to offer Pension and 401k plans. Has Employee Deferral Plan . Total compensation is very good.
9 by 80, was not available for interns but for full-time employees
Pension and misc. benefits are fantastic.
Decent benefits. Has not been the best since Obama care was implemented
401K plan , Dental and Vision plus had the option for single or family insurance
Maternity leave was recently increased company wide to 12 weeks paid - which is great for new mothers. The company is also great for flexibilty in returning to work (you can come back part time and ease into your full work schedule if you want). 401K match could be better but they still provide a very small pension so that helps make up for a lower match. You don't get a number of sick days, you just aren't supposed to come into the office when you are sick. Vacation is also pretty generous - new hires start out with about 3 weeks but by 5 years you have 4 weeks and you can carry over 1 week of vacation each year. Flex schedule is great - most supervisors offer the 9/80 schedule and are very flexible about being okay with you leaving early if you have things you need to take care of.
Very flexible paid time off
Lack of flexibility to accommodate. Vacation time increases every 5 years.
I'm really impressed with the total rewards package that Dow offers employees. I personally like the onsite gym facility, it's where I go first to get in an indoor cycling class during lunch time (and it's where I lost 40lbs!!!). The flexibility in my working schedule allows me to get my personal health in check while leaving time for family activities at the end of the workday.
