    Supervisors are given great latitude in setting work hours and days. I worked the 9/80 schedule for several years enjoying the extra 3 day weekends.

    More generous for long-time employees, but new hires still accumulate vacation days quickly.

    Vacation time is meager, to say the least. New employees get only 10 days (+2 personal choice) and then it goes up slowly. Nothing compared to European firms, even those with branches in US.
