“Easy to use and helpful”
“Before the pandemic - only 1-2 days a month. After the pandemic - still uncertain.”
“Standard for Bulgaria. No program for increasing the paid vacation days count.”
Great company perks for sure
401k match and equity for the company
Unlimited PTO Health, Dental, Vision Door Dash Great Office Workplace
It was awesome to be there.
I work at growth-stage company and and am looking to substantially improve my salary in the Feb annual review. I told them $85k during interview, they got me down to $65k+equity+fully paid benefits+WFH+4% 401k match, and honestly, I was stuck in my career after exploring post-grad and a bit desperate to use my degree. Plus I had never negotiated before. The company is expecting a big round of funding in the new year; I have consistently excelled; they gave $10k retention for just 2months...
Im a recent college grad in my first job out of school. Im working a sales job making $50k base, but my territory is healthcare in the west (idaho, alaksa, etc) and most of the companies I reach out to are very small and struggling financially due to covid. As a result, it has been extremely difficult to get any sort of response/traction. It is starting to seem like no matter how many hours i put in, the need isnt there. Do i stick it out because its my first year, or am i setting myself to fail?
Does it make sense to not ever buy a place in the Bay Area and just invest the money in SPY, and keep my RSU, maximize my ESSP and 401k? This is the most effortless approach for me, plus, I do not want to buy a place around 1M but translate to 1 hour of commute to my work. Anything wrong with it? For the record, I do have real estates in Seattle too.
Great company + benefit package!
“Unlimited” vacation - team management determines what is approved so varies significantly by department. It can be far less than companies with a set amount of time.
Great Benefits and 401k match
The best thing about the benefits at DraftKings has been the pricing for healthcare and getting pet insurance and other coverages for very minimal! The only downfall to the benefits is that the "unlimited vacation" is not really unlimited and is very limited depending on your position with the company. Moving internally across departments I was shown really quickly that not all company policy is the same across the departments.
It is all really solid when it comes to benefits here at DraftKings. But the biggest one for me is the PTO time to use when we need it as it feels like we aren't chained to our job and can take time off when need be. Having the unlimited PTO is just an amazing feeling to have even if you don't necessarily use it all or much at all, but knowing that DraftKings cares enough for us as workers to allow us whatever time off we need speaks volumes to the company as a whole.
Unlimited vacation, stock incentives, 401k matching, incredible in-office perks (pre-covid)
