Dropbox provides a very generous benefit globally - I love their philosophy of "equality in benefits" for all Dropboxers. Dropbox cares about all families - which is why Maternity & Paternity Leave is equal for adoptive parents and parents who use a surrogate! I love working for a company that cares!

Pro: You get paid 100% of your salary for 6 months and you are eligible from day 1. This leave is available for moms and dads (birth parents and adoption). And everyone takes it. Con: you are gone for a really long time so you kind of have to ramp back up when you come back, but again everyone is really understanding and nice and the company isn't as fast paced as other companies so it's not hard to come back.
