DuPont health insurance requires at least 6,000 US Dollars in up front cost before an insurance company will pay for medical services.
I've been rather healthy and did not use my benefits too much. I did have need for outpatient surgery and everything was taken care of smoothly. Company was very patient when I was out convalescing. Overall, a good experience. Nice people to work with (mostly)!
Having to pay more for medical insurance - not as nice as it once ones.
DuPont has been moving more and more toward employee shared costing of insurance. Higher deductibles each year before insurance kicks in.
Over the last five years the company has concerted to a minimal insurance plan pushing most employees into a high deductible plan.
Very high deductible. If you don't get sick often it is like not having insurance at all. All expenses are out of pocket.
plans are getting more expensive and requiring larger and larger deductibles
I liked the high deductible plan, it worked for my family.
covered for medical and free blood test offered.
